7 Winter Breakfasts The JS Team Are Loving

winter breakfasts

I always say that I wish people could spend a day in the JSHealth HQ and see the healthy meals that the JSHealth team create – seriously delicious and nutritious. More often than not you will find the team whipping up their winter breakfast options together in the JS kitchen. I am just in awe of the simplicity of the meals and also the nutrient density of them. I genuinely take inspiration from the team and I hope you do too!

Here are the winter breakfasts the team have been digging into:

Me (Jess! Founder & Director)
Keeping it simple at the moment with toast and almond butter with banana slices or smashed avocado and eggs. For bread options, some weeks I have been making my Signature Gluten Free Loaf or when I’m short on time I grab a store-bought paleo bread from my local shops.

Find the recipe for my signature loaf here!

Dean (CEO)
“A giant bowl of oats soaked in water the night before, heated up and then topped with honey.”

Zoë (Graphic Designer)
“An Iggy’s Bakery Bagel with smashed avocado and a sprinkle of nutritional yeast flakes. Some days I add vegemite if I’m feeling wild.”

Jodi (Nutritionist)
“The 3-Step Banana & Cinnamon Pancakes from the app.”

Caroline (Digital Marketing Manager)
Protein yoghurt with Jess’ mums seed mix and some fruit.”

There is always a batch of my mum’s seed mix in the fridge and the team love it. It’s also now in the app– look for ‘Homemade Seed Cereal’.

Vic (Recipe Developer & Nutritionist)
Porridge with chia seeds, peanut butter and raspberries! Or if I have time I make a frittata on a Sunday with whatever is lying around in my fridge.”

Looking for a frittata recipe? Try our Mediterranean Frittata or our 5-Ingredient Egg Muffins.

Ashleigh (PR Manager)
“All about oats right now, with seeds, walnuts, goji berries, honey and a little bit of protein powder mixed in to keep me full!”
