Favourite dining spots in Sydney…where I find healthy options!

While I love to make nourishing home-cooked meals, it’s always a nice break to have someone cook for me! It seems that each week is busier than the last, and I’ve recently been enjoying some of Sydney’s local gems on days when I’m running from meeting to meeting.

But just because I’m eating out doesn’t mean I’m not eating well! I choose to eat gluten-free, sugar-free – but most importantly, I’m committed to eating REAL food. I am a firm believer that you can always find a healthy option. There are a number of restaurants where I can count on JSHealth approved meals. Tell the lovely restaurants that JSHealth sent you and that you would love to try my favourite healthy dishes!

SEFA KITCHEN – The most amazing Brussels sprout dish with an almond hummus. Oh my goodness. Their pumpkin salad is divine, and for a main dish the lamb is unbelievable.

FRATELLI FRESH – I love their poached salmon salad, mushroom salad, cabbage and Parmesan salad, and of course, steamed broccolini.

THE APPOLO – A beautiful Greek restaurant with an amazing lamb and chicken dish. I always go for their veggie sides too.

LOX STOCK AND BARREL – A recent favourite – I am absolutely loving it there. The eggplant with quinoa and mixed nuts is phenomenal. I also love the snapper, lamb and the sides of carrots and greens with a miso dressing.

THE FISH SHOP – The best place to find a fresh piece of fish with delicious salad and veg sides.

ESTER – A gorgeous spot. I love the romantic atmosphere. The cauliflower and almond dish has to be my favourite.

FRATELLI PARADISO – An Italian treat! Amazing steak, fish and sides. Italian food at its finest.

THE CENTENNIAL – I have always adored this spot. They’re known for their rib eye and mash.; so I order the rib eye with greens/salad. I also love their new chicken dish with a side of broccoli.

NOMAD – DELICIOUS chicken dish. The scallops are incredible too, and I love the way they prepare their carrots and cauliflower.

BONDI’S BEST – A family favourite. We’re definitely regulars – we may go there a little too often! They offer the freshest fish and the best variety of sides. We adore the roasted carrots and greens. My signature order is the iceberg salad with seaweed, with seared salmon and a side of carrots. Oh my – too delish!

And because I couldn’t narrow down my top Japanese picks at the moment, I’m featuring three!

RAW BAR – Delicious Japanese. I LOVE the raw bar salad with the tuna tataki. They have THE freshest sashimi! The eggplant is another delicious treat.

Kayushua – Authentic Japanese in Neutral bay. Nothing fancy but SO delicious. My favourite place to enjoy sushi/sashimi. I also love their Wafu steak with eggplant on the side. The sashimi is seriously amazing.

Hana Ju Rin – In Crowes Nest – I love it so much! Delicious sashimi salads, sushi, grilled meats and miso eggplant. Absolutely adore.

We had dinner at lox stock and barrel last weekend and it was the most amazing and guilt free healthy eating experience so far. Just wanted to say thank you for your post, we would have not known about it otherwise.
