Healthy Highlight: Beets

​If you don’t already love beets, well – what are you waiting for?

Beets and beet greens are an insane source of vitamins and minerals,​ including potassium, magnesium, fiber, iron and vitamins A, B & C.

They’re phenomenal for cleansing purposes – detox your liver and purify the blood, all in one shot.

And did you know beets are an aphrodisiac? Yep, that was one of their first uses in ancient Roman times!

Convinced yet? Try them in juices and smoothies, in salads, and roast them as a delish, slightly sweet side. One of my very favourite beet recipes is from my Aunty Cathy – her Green Bean and Roast Beetroot Salad is a must-try!
