I’m going vegan for 2 weeks…
because so many JSHealth readers have asked what I think of the diet. And honestly, from my nutritional knowledge and personal past experiences, I’m not the biggest fan.
I tried eating all raw vegan for a week earlier this year, and one of the main things I noticed was that I wasn’t as full and satiated after each meal. This is a consequence of not eating as much protein, and since protein is the most satiating macronutrient, I will need to be conscious of this in my meals.
That said, I feel I need to try it a bit longer with these adjustments so I can give you all a real and honest answer. Our bodies are unique and constantly changing. Something that didn’t work for me in the past may be great now. What has been amazing for you may not work for me.
