Birthday Reflections for my 36th Year!

14 April 2025

I hardly ever just write down my personal reflections. This year on my 36th birthday, I thought I should jot down my thoughts on my morning walk today to reflect on how I feel about another lap around the sun!

    • I have learned, no matter what – to just keep boxing (thanks Gran!).

    • Letting go and leaning in (finding the balance between those) makes life much better.

    • More and more, I have realized that the simplest aspects of my life are the best ones – e.g., waking up with my hubby, my morning coffee, weekend rituals, daily walks, etc. I think we are taught that the glitz and glam parts of life are the best ones and what we should strive for to find happiness and joy. I am learning that probably isn’t the truth.

    • I love my work and job so much. I know it is a total privilege to have turned my passion of helping people feel well every day into my job. I will never take that for granted. This community has such a big part of my heart.

    • What I love most in this life: being at home, weekends with very few plans, waking up with purpose, cooking when I am in the mood, walking in pretty neighborhoods, wine and olives, formulating a vitamin, PJ mornings, planning a vacay, and trying out a good new restaurant.

    • I have realized work is the best thing for me. I say this while still encountering hard work days that I do not always love. I have realized how much working keeps us healthy and strong. It builds inner resilience, keeps us stimulated in such good flow, and supports our mental health and quality of life.

    • Hard work always, always shows in the end – with whatever you do.

    • I am SO appreciative of my friendships. Especially proud and grateful to have the same group of besties since we were 13 years old!

    • I cannot believe I get to work with over 50 females every day. I hope they realize how much their work and strength inspires me personally every day. Working with you is a privilege. I mean it.

    • My sisters are legends. I am so lucky to call you my sisters. My true best friends.

    • The thing I treasure the absolute most in this life is my husband, Dean. He will always be my greatest blessing and the most sacred part of my world. He is my entire heart.

    • I am so appreciative for my parents, and all I pray for is their continued health.

    • A hard “yuck day” is usually followed up with a great next day. Just keep going.

    • My greatest wish for the years to come is continued health and peace, to be a mom one day, for JSHealth Vitamins to be the most trusted vitamin brand in the world, and to genuinely help people feel well.

Finally, I wish for my loved ones, community, and customers to know how much I value them.

Love,
Jess x
