There is absolutely nothing wrong with chickpeas. They are incredibly nutritious and fibre rich, however some people really do struggle to digest foods from the legume family. So this is an alternative! It is great as a dip for your veggies, a yummy pasta sauce or as a spread for your toast!
Ingredients
- 2 organic zucchinis, chopped
- 1/2 cup tahini (hulled)
- 1 lemon ( juice)
- 2-3 tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 tbsp water
- 1/2-1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1/2 tbsp cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp Himalayan sea salt
- Pepper
Method
- Put the ingredients into your food processor! Add more oil or water for your desired consistency.
