Chickpea-Free Zucchini & Turmeric Hummus

There is absolutely nothing wrong with chickpeas. They are incredible nutritious however some people really do struggle to digest foods from the legume family. So this is an alternative! Enjoy!

Chickpea-Free Zucchini & Turmeric Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 2 organic zucchinis, chopped
  • 1/2 cup tahini (hulled)
  • 1 lemon ( juice)
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2-3 tbsp water
  • 1/2-1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp Himalayan sea salt
  • Pepper

Method:

  1. Put the above into your food processor! Add more oil or water for your desired consistency.

Great as a dip for your veggies,  a yummy pasta sauce or as a spread for your toast!
