Raw Cacao & Mint Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls like this are one of my favourite ways to easily and quickly pack a bunch of nutrients into a meal. Full of satiating healthy fats from avocado and almonds and antioxidants from the raw cacao – this delicious and indulgent smoothie may be the easiest way to sneak an extra serving of greens into your day! It seriously tastes like a bowl of choc-mint ice-cream… This is what healthy indulgence is all about!

Ingredients

Serves: 2

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 banana, frozen and chopped
  • 3-4 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • Big handful of baby spinach
  • 4-6 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 drops of vanilla stevia or 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 cup cacao nibs
  • 1 fresh banana, sliced

 

Method

  1. Add avocado, frozen banana, cacao powder, almond butter, almond milk, baby spinach, mint and stevia or maple syrup (if using) to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Spoon into two bowls and top each bowl with cacao nibs and sliced banana.
