Sweet Potato Chips with Sweet Chilli Feta

Homemade sweet chilli? Yes please! Crumble some feta on top and you have a delicious side that is sure to make everyone happy.

Time to cook: 35 minutes, 10 minutes prep time 

Serves: 6, as a side



  • 2 sweet potato, skin on & cut into chips
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 50g (1.7 oz) feta


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C or 350°F. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sweet potato chips, olive oil and sweet paprika. Season with sea salt and black pepper and use your hands to toss the chips to evenly coat. Spread the chips across the baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  3. To prepare the sweet chilli, combine the chilli flakes, maple syrup and a dash of water in the small mixing bowl. Whisk to combine.
  4. Once the sweet potato chips are cooked, transfer them to a serving platter or serve them straight from the baking tray. Crumble the feta on top of the chips and drizzle the sweet chilli over the top.
