There’s nothing like a new year for a fresh start, and I certainly find myself getting caught up in the excitement of new visions and goals. 2014 was an incredible year for me, personally and professionally, and I have so much inspiration going into the new year. After giving it some thought, I was able to focus my intentions into several specific resolutions for 2015:
- Be kind to myself. I want to show myself less judgment and criticism and more love.
- Worry less. I love the quote, “Worrying is like praying for something you don’t want.” I have realized it’s a total energy vampire and waste of time.
- Get more rest – although this is already something I prioritize! As JSHealth grows, I need to really commit to this so that I’m able to be my best self.
- Commit to more one-on-one time – with myself. I’d like to commit to spending more time in reflection and meditation. More “Jess time.”
- Commit to social media-free days. I try to practice a “switchoff” day once a week, but I’d like to make this a regular habit. It’s so necessary for a balanced and healthy life.
- More juicing. I am typically a smoothie gal, but I would love to experiment more with juices for an intense nutrient hit.
- Start a JSHealth YouTube channel. I want to share my personal journey of health with my readers in a new, more intimate and interactive way.
- Give back. I would love to contribute more to charities, and to help children who are dealing with compromised health. I’m so grateful for my wellness and want to pay it forward.
- Embrace my dreams. I truly believe in the power of manifestation and want to focus on practicing positive affirmations.
Hello 2015! I have a feeling you are going to be the most amazing one yet. I would love to hear what you’re manifesting for your new year!
