I’ve always believed true wellness should feel simple.
The core JSHealth philosophy, The Healthy Life, is all about living in a way that’s sustainable, supportive and free from pressure or guilt.
Life is busy enough without complicated recipes or elaborate steps, and the truth is, nourishing your body doesn’t need to be fancy to be effective. Over the years, I’ve developed ways to bring together wholesome, delicious meals with minimal time and effort. I hope these tips and recipes make your life easier.
Try one this week and let me know how it goes!
With love,
Jess xx
1. Sunday Prep
I’m not a huge meal prepper, but I do love to prep a few ingredients on Sunday. Boil some eggs, roast a tray of veggies, cut up some fruits, poach some chicken — this saves so much time during the week and it’s a kind gesture for your future self!
Lately, I’ve been baking these delicious Banana, Date & Walnut Muffins. My favorite, you must try!

2. Cook Once, Eat Twice
When planning your meals for the week ahead, think about what recipes keep well in the fridge. That way you can cook once and then enjoy the leftovers for the next day for lunch, or even a few days.
This Halloumi & Quinoa Salad stores so well in the fridge and tastes even better the next day!

3. Embrace One-Pan Meals
There are so many delicious one-pan recipes to choose from in the JSHealth App when you’re in need of a quick and nourishing meal. My One-Pan Japanese-Inspired Salmon is a community favorite for a reason! One pan, just 5 minutes to prep, and the oven does all the work.

4. Slow Cooking
I have recently discovered the joy of slow cooking and, though it may seem counterintuitive, it truly saves so much time! I love that I can toss everything in before work and come home to a meal completely ready to enjoy. Slow-Cooked Chicken Curry is my go-to!

5. Stock Your Freezer & Pantry
Opt for recipes that you can double and freeze in portions. Bolognese, curries, and bliss balls are my on-repeat recipes. I always have some soup in the freezer ready to go for a quick lunch or dinner. I’ve really been enjoying a classic Tomato & Basil Soup!
