10 Lessons I’ve Learnt in the Last Year

One year older and wiser too… Each year brings a new set of challenges and growth. I’m always reminded that we are always so much stronger than we think. 

Below are the most transformative lessons I’ve learnt this last year. I hope this resonates with you!

1. Our energy is expensive. Being careful with who and where we give it, really has made a huge difference to my life.

2. Most of my pressure comes from myself. Finding ways to relieve that has been significant.

3. The stronger our self worth, the safer you feel to cut people pleasing.

4. Parts of my day that are life-changing: Morning walk and a nighttime routine without social media.

5. True strength and resilience that lasts a lifetime comes in the harder moments, not the easier ones. Hang tight, the other side is amazing.

6. Being more offline is the new luxury. I disconnect as much as I can.

7. Less alcohol where possible. I feel and sleep SO much better!

8. You can still be kind with boundaries.

9. Do not take things personally. Reading the Four Agreements book really has shifted so much for me and my day to day.

10. As gran says, “Box on” NO MATTER WHAT. Looking forward only, not to your left or right. Often, this simple act is all we need to get into our day with positivity and strength.
