One of my key priorities right now is working on building my strength. I am really loving working out at home and challenging my body, as it’s an investment for my future self.
Movement and nourishment work hand in hand, so I’m focusing on protein and fiber-rich carbohydrates because they keep me fuller for longer, support recovery after exercising, and give me sustained energy throughout the day.
Protein is made up of amino acids, which are the building blocks your body uses to repair tissues, create enzymes and certain hormones, and especially important for building muscle mass.
These are the current protein-rich, strength-supporting meals that I’m making on repeat:
Greek Style Meatball Bowls

A wholesome bowl built from simple ingredients.
Juicy herbed beef meatballs provide protein, paired with crispy potato wedges for satisfying carbs, a classic Greek-style salad for freshness, and creamy tzatziki to tie it all together. It’s a balanced meal that’s perfect for weeknights, post-workout recovery, or meal prep!
Air-Fried Miso Chicken Bowls

A JSHealth classic loved for how simple it is to make!
Tender, air-fried chicken is infused with the umami flavors of a delicious miso marinade. Paired with a vibrant medley of cucumber salad, protein-packed edamame, creamy avocado, and fragrant basmati rice, each bite helps fuel steady energy and supports your strength goals.
Sweet Potato & Feta Frittata

A Mediterranean-inspired frittata layering steamed sweet potato, briny olives, and salty feta for a flavor-forward twist. With protein from both eggs and cottage cheese, it’s a satisfying breakfast that kickstarts your day.
Viral Hot Honey Beef Bowls

Viral for all the right reasons! We’ve added lentils for added fiber, plus baby spinach, and cucumber to keep things fresh and balanced. Finished with a squeeze of lime for brightness. A simple, nourishing twist on a trend — designed to support you, while still tasting delicious.
Enjoy,
Jess xx
