How I’ll be Detoxing From Social Media These Holidays & Greetings From The JSHealth Team!


To the JS community,

I wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas, Hanukkah and a Happy New Year. Thank you so much for your support in 2017 – I truly appreciate every single one of you, and I am so proud of your efforts to live a healthier life.

This Christmas time I’ll be going on a technology detox – from emails, social media and the blog. I hope you will join me.

I absolutely adore connecting to my community and I’m sure you guys love connecting with your friends, family and work colleagues.

BUT – and let’s be honest – it can be exhausting and energy-draining when it’s non-stop.

We have no boundaries with technology these days with technology and I believe it can increase stress levels.

Last year I had a 10-day detox from social media, emails and the blog and I believe it was the best thing ever. It helped me feel so ready and refreshed for the new year.

So, I delete the social applications from my phone, turn off emails and hide my laptop. In moments of anxiety or FOMO (which totally comes up), I remind myself how exciting next year will be – and in order for that to manifest – my mind needs a reset.

Rest and disconnect. It’s so important for the healthy life.
