Fibre Flax Raspberry Smoothie

Needing a fibre and hydration boost? Try this smoothie. The cinnamon helps with stabilising blood sugar levels, flaxseeds are a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, psyllium husk is full of fibre and the coconut water is packed with electrolytes.

Ingredients

Serves: 1            

  • 1 serving vanilla whey protein
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1-2 tsp. stevia/xylitol/honey
  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • 1 tbsp. psyllium husk
  • 1 Tbsp. flaxseeds
  • 1 Tbsp. coconut or Greek yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • More filtered water if you wish
  • 5-10 ice cubes

 

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender!
