This quick snack is easily digestible and will help muscle and energy recovery and repair. It’s so important to eat the right foods if you’re training, and to give back the needed nutrients to your body after it has worked so hard! I love using Nuzest Pea Protein Powder because it’s 100% natural, vegan-friendly protein, and combined with cinnamon, oats and yoghurt it makes for a delicious post-workout snack!
JSHealth Post Workout Protein Bomb
- 1 scoop of pea protein – I use Nuzest
- 1 tsp of glutamine powder – I use this one
- 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp of organic gluten free oats
- 3 tbsp of greek yoghurt or COYO
- Sprinkle of nuts and seeds of your choice (optional)
- Mix all ingredients together in a protein shaker or small bowl, and enjoy!
- Aim to consume this 30-60 minutes post-workout.
