Lemon and Berry Cheesecake Smoothie

A perfect breaky option or an arvo pick-me-up drink. It’s also great post training sesh.

Ingredients

Serves: 1

  • 1 serving natural vanilla protein powder-whey/rice/pea protein.
  • 1/4 cup frozen berries
  • 1 tbsp. goji berries (if you can)
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1-2 tsp. stevia
  • 1 tbsp. greek yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp. ricotta cheese/cottage cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon zest
  • 1-2 cups of ice
  • 1 cup milk/filtered water ( I use 1/2 almond milk, 1/2 water)

 

Method

  • Blend the above ingredients in a blender- Vitamix is the best!
  • I top the smoothie with some extra berries, a dollop of greek yoghurt, more lemon zest and coconut chips.
