Oh my goodness – I recently made this afternoon delight after a day of back to back clients. I needed a bowl of fuel before yoga, and this Peanut Butter Protein Bowl totally hit the spot. Thick and creamy – heaven!
Ingredients
Serves: 1
- 1 serving protein powder of your choice (I used NuZest)
- 1 cup ice
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 Tbsp. peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Stevia
- pinch of sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon xantham gum (optional, to thicken)
Method
- Place all ingredients in a blender. I like to add xantham gum to thicken it – the consistency becomes like ice cream!
- Pour into a bowl and top with a drizzle of peanut butter.
