Peanut Butter Protein Bowl

 

Oh my goodness – I recently made this afternoon delight after a day of back to back clients. I needed a bowl of fuel before yoga, and this Peanut Butter Protein Bowl totally hit the spot. Thick and creamy – heaven!

Peanut Butter Protein Bowl

Serves: 1
Ingredients
  • 1 serving protein powder of your choice (I used NuZest)
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 Tbsp. peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Stevia
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon xantham gum (optional, to thicken)
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender. I like to add xantham gum to thicken it – the consistency becomes like ice cream!
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with a drizzle of peanut butter.
