Why I Started JSHealth & What Matters To Me

I dieted from age 13 to 23. I let the number on the scale define my self worth – every single day for ten years. I developed an eating disorder that caused me to disconnect from my body and its needs, which led to zero self confidence. I was seeking love in all of the wrong places. I found myself partying, drinking excessively, clinging to negative relationships – doing anything and everything to find myself again. I felt so ALONE with my own thoughts.

So I created JSHealth as a way to connect to other women who would share my story and feel supported by it, and 5 years later that’s how it remains. It’s a place to come to, so that you never feel alone. It’s a philosophy that believes in balance, imperfection and kindness towards your body. The word ‘perfect’ is not in the JSHealth vocabulary.

What mattered to me all those years ago when I first started JSHealth, is what matters to me now. It’s that you KNOW that JSHealth is here to support you. I wish with all my heart I had this platform to come to when I was 15 and feeling so alone. This is my way of giving back.

JSHealth is here to help you find freedom with food, your body and your life. JSHealth is a lifestyle that enables you to connect to your body with only love and kindness. It helps you to give up the extremes and overcome the confusion around food. It’s a simple formula that just works. The testimonials from the 8-week program have proved it. Being flexible with food and having a wholesome relationship with your body is what creates long term change.

So this post is just to remind you, that you can talk to me anytime, and I’m here for you. I’m not this perfect social media figure who has it all together. I actually care about you, deeply. I am on the journey too. I crave the support just like you do – perhaps that’s what makes this brand feel so relatable. Also, the JSHealth girls around the world are here for you too. They get you. It’s not always easy, but having each others supports makes it a whole lot easier. Don’t you agree?

Love you all x J
