Tahini and Vanilla Smoothie

Tahini is an amazing addition to your smoothie! It’s sesame paste that’s used in a lot of Middle Eastern cooking, but is a great source of copper, calcium and magnesium.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp LSA
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder

 

Method

  1. Process all the ingredients in a blender until thick and smooth
  2. Pour into a bowl and add your favourite toppings to serve. Suggestions include berries, crushed nuts, gluten-free granola and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
