We’re Headed to LA

I have an exciting announcement! Some of you may know that Dean and I are headed off to LA – in just 2-3 weeks.

It was a very last minute decision.

We are actually moving for my husband Dean’s work – he is in software and is launching his latest App, Urge.

LA, of course, is a great place for my work too. The health industry there is incredibly inspiring for me and I’ll be hidden away in a study writing my second book for the next 8 weeks – and recipe testing like crazy!

I am also on the hunt for a good PR team and tech team to build my own App. If you’re familiar with anyone who would be a great fit, please let me know.

We are going for about a two month trial and will then make a more permanent decision. Our plan and hope is to go for the next 1-2 years. We have big dreams for LA.

I have always absolutely loved LA – I spent about 2.5 months there last year and really fell in love with the city. If you live in LA, please let me know. I want to know your favourite health spots and would love to meet you – and perhaps create some healthy events while I am there!

Even though we’re so excited for this new beginning, I am sad that I’ll be away from Australia for a while. No one does good food, health and wellness (or coffee!) quite like Australians do.

We have so many loved ones in Sydney and in Australia, so it is definitely not good bye.. just a ‘see you soon’!

All my love,

How exciting! Best wishes to you and your husband starting a life here in the states! Looking forward to the next book! Hope it will be available here! 😉

Hi Jessica, happy to hear about your move to LA. I’ve been one of your Instagram followers (arkarmy) for a while. I live in West Hollywood and here are some of my favorite health spots. You can use Yelp to find the full address.
Backyard Bowls on Beverly, Powerplant Cafe on Pico, Sun Cafe in Studio City, Sage in Culver City, M Cafe on Melrose and Gracias Madre on Melrose. Good luck with the move.

  • That’s some exciting news! I don’t live in la, but if I was visiting I would go to the bulletproof coffee place. ❤️

  • How wonderful! I am a martial artist and I visit LA 1-3 times per year to train and enjoy everything LA. Except yes indeed, the coffee isn’t as good. I have found a few wonderful coffee gems, I shall let you know when I make my next trip (in 2-3 months!) perhaps I can take you for coffee! I look forward even more to your blog as you write from LA, that place is my second home. Love xx
